Hello Readers!
We’re back from a month in Ireland—and what a month it was! From Dublin to Kinsale to Dingle to Doolin to Galway to the wild west of Connemara, we enjoyed the people, landscape, music, culture, history, churches, castles, and yes, even the food. Sitting in a small pub eating seafood chowder and drinking a pint of Guinness on a stormy fall night while listening to traditional Irish music is nothing short of sublime. The highlight of the trip (of many) had to be standing on the ground where my great-grandmother grew up on Dawros, a small peninsula outside of Letterfrack. We miss Ireland already, and will certainly be back!

The Irish Girl
Visiting Ireland again, put off for three years due to COVID (which, ironically, we contracted while there), allowed me to make the final touches on the The Irish Girl, due to She Writes Press on December 1.
I’m very excited about Mary Agnes’s story and can’t wait for you to read it, due out next fall.

In Closing
It’s my favorite time of year, cozied up in front of the fire under a blanket, reading. As I finish up my Ireland-only reading year, I’ll look forward to hearing some of your favorite titles of 2023 so I can pack my bedside table with new reads.
